Agnes Horvath Miniatures & Micro Tools – 1:12 Scale Collectible Miniatures & Professional Clay Tools

Who I Am

I'm Agnes Horvath, a professional miniature artist and tool designer specializing in 1:12 scale collectible miniatures and precision micro tools for clay artists. Working from a small UK studio, I combine artistic skill, material knowledge, and technical innovation to create unique pieces for collectors, miniature enthusiasts, and professional artists worldwide.

What I Create

I create miniature Ceramic Sculptures, tableware, polymerclay food and furniture and home decor.

  • Ceramic Tableware: Plates, bowls, cups, jugs, cookie jars, and more, each hand-sculpted and hand-painted.

  • Miniature Food: Cakes, pastries, meats, and other detailed edible reproductions made from polymer clay and displayed on my ceramic tableware.

  • Figurines & Sculptures: Animals, vases, bonbonnières, and decorative objects, sculpted in ceramic, wood, or metal.

  • All miniatures are 1:12 scale, one-of-a-kind creations, designed for collectors, dollhouse enthusiasts, and artists seeking inspiration.

Professional Micro Tools for Clay

  • M-BOSS™ Micro Cutter System: Innovative plunger cutters that also function as stamps, designed for micro-scale work in polymer clay, pottery clay, and metal clay.

  • PAC-PEN™ Micro Cutter System: Original micro cutter system, still supported and available for experienced miniature artists.

  • Micro Alphabet Stamps: Perfect for texturing and personalization in miniature and clay projects.

  • Other Tools: Edgers, wet palettes, and supporting tools developed for precise, small-scale clay work.

All tools are designed out of necessity for working at very small scales, tested in real studio conditions, and used by thousands of miniature artists, jewellery makers, and potters worldwide.

Why My Tools Are Different

  • Designed specifically for small and micro scale work

  • Clean release and precise edges

  • Durable and reliable for repeated daily use, made from special mix of resin.

  • Tested for polymer clay, pottery clay, and metal clay

  • Developed with input from real studio practice, not just theoretical use.

Archives and Past Work

  • A curated selection of sold miniatures and past works is displayed in archives for inspiration and portfolio purposes.

  • Includes miniature food, ceramic tableware, figurines, and decorative pieces.

  • Even if a piece is sold, collectors can explore shapes and inquire about availability or similar designs.

Seaham Sea Glass (Separate Project)

Alongside my work as a miniature artist and tool designer, I also maintain a separate sea glass collection focused exclusively on Northumberland coast, mainly Seaham sea glass.

Seaham, located on the north east coast of England, is internationally known for producing some of the rarest and most sought after sea glass in the world, shaped by its industrial history and coastal conditions. This collection has been built over many years and attracts a dedicated international audience of collectors, jewellery makers, and designers.

The sea glass shop operates independently from my miniature and micro tool work and has its own dedicated section on the website. While it is not part of my day to day studio practice, it remains an important long running project with significant organic traffic and search interest.

Visitors interested specifically in historic Seaham sea glass can explore the collection here:
