Where is My Order? Lost Parcels in Royal Mail Disaster

While I wish I could share a more cheerful Christmas update, I feel it’s important to provide this information in the hope of offering some comfort to those who are waiting.


Significant delivery delays, extending to weeks, are currently being experienced due to the ongoing strikes at Royal Mail and a surge in demand.

We will continue to utilize the Royal Mail 1st Class service until the 31st of December, but please be aware that there is no absolute guarantee that parcels will be delivered on time.


In my experience, Royal Mail, despite the delays, outperforms other companies, many of which are also affected by the Royal Mail strikes. Over the past few years, Royal Mail has consistently demonstrated efficiency, particularly when dealing with lost parcel investigations. We hope they maintain this standard even after this hectic month.


Regarding tracking details, I’ve noticed that many of you struggle to locate this information.

First-time customers receive two emails. One email, which I send manually, contains a description of the tool and the tracking details. The other email is an automatically generated invoice, and the tracking details can be found at the bottom of this invoice.

Regular customers only receive the second email.


You can verify the tracking number on the Royal Mail website or your local postal service’s website once they have received the parcel (for example, USPS in the US).

I recommend checking the tracking details 2-3 weeks after dispatch, and then on a weekly basis. Regrettably, this timeframe is currently applicable even within the UK.

Postal services worldwide are extremely busy at this time of year. More parcels are being held at local post offices and then returned to us because recipients have not received missed delivery notices.

Once your order has been dispatched, we do not have access to any more information than what is available to you through your tracking details. However, if you do not receive your parcel within 30 days, please contact me with your name, order number, and date, and I will do my utmost to assist you.


I understand how difficult it can be, especially when a Christmas gift is delayed, and I appreciate your understanding and patience.
